A MOXIE STORY

For a guy, Mahatma Gandhi was very Moxie when he said, "Be the change you wish to see in the world." At MoxieLady.org, our members get this – and not only get it, but thrive in doing so!

That ‘change’ is not only a nice concept that feels good to quote every now-and-then, but functions better when we connect with like-minded women. And you know what? Something quite magical happens when we do connect!

We not only tell stories of our lives and day-to-day events, we laugh at our foibles, we celebrate our achievements, we dream up solutions to everyday quandaries (sometimes small and sometimes what seem insurmountable for a single individual). When suddenly the room is whirring with ideas (or as we like to call it, “The Moxie Spark”). And once this ignites the room, there is no turning back as we put forth to the universe what we intend to do about it!

With the flood of ideas and solutions we develop a plan to act upon (because we all want to do our part to help out… that’s just the kind of Moxie gals we are). And after much connection, intention and action, we transform our communities as well as the world… and in the process, ourselves. Very Moxie.

Oh, and one more thing… According to the American Heritage Dictionary, Moxie is defined as, “The ability to face difficulty with spirit and courage.” So yes, men may have their ‘mojo’, but women… we have our ‘Moxie”! (Oh, except for Mahatma Gandhi, he also had Moxie.)

Be Moxie… Be Very Moxie…
